Gem and Enhancement

Gems and Chips
About Gems
Gems are important items used to enhance weapons and armor.

Gems created from Chips through the Gem Merchant NPC can be used directly for item enhancement as Gems.
If they are dropped by monsters, they are still in the “Rough Stone” state and must be processed by a Human.

From Amethyst to Diamond, each Gem can enhance different item level ranges. The higher the required level of the item, the higher the Gem needed.

About Chips

Chips are the base materials for Gems and are dropped by monsters.
If you collect 5 of the same Chip, you can exchange them for a higher grade at the “Gem Merchant” NPC in Laglamia.
If you collect 5 Grade-1 Chips and exchange them at the Gem Merchant, they become a Gem.

Great Regent Diamond

A gem created by concentrating crystals using the best available techniques.

Like regular gems, it can enhance weapons and armor, but it also holds special power.

If enhancement fails, the enhancement value does not decrease.
It is planned to be usable by the “Enhancer Max” in a future update.

For Emerald and below: if you are at +4.8 and use a Great Gem, even if you fail, you will remain at +4.8.

This special power means there is no penalty on failure.
